The Clinical Application Specialist will serve as the key clinical educator and support contact for hospital- and clinic-based care teams using our products. This individual will provide expert in-service training, virtual clinical support, demonstrations, and coordination of pilot testing with end users. Ideal candidates bring pediatric clinical experience, a passion for education, and alignment with our company’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Lead in-service training for partner staff (physicians, nurses, physician assistants, etc) on the use of the LOCK 2000 Vest and LOCK 3000 Belt.
Deliver education virtually (Zoom/phone/email) with potential for occasional on-site visits.
Provide ongoing clinical support to users of our devices.
Conduct demos in collaboration with the business development team.
Coordinate and document end-user testing and feedback on new or prototype devices.
Collaborate with the product team to refine training content and support materials.
Represent the company’s mission and values in all clinical interactions.
Key Skills & Attributes
Clinical credibility: Able to train and advise MDs, RNs, and other clinical staff.
Effective communicator: Clear, compassionate, and persuasive in educational settings.
Technically adept with remote training tools (Zoom, Teams, shared documents, etc.).

Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment and evolving needs.

Bonus Skills (Optional, but a Plus)
Experience in train-the-trainer or continuing education (CEU) programs.
Prior experience in medical device sales support, customer success, or product development feedback loops.
Education
Registered Nurse (RN) with a BSN required.
Advanced Practice credentials (e.g., Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – PNP, Family Nurse Practitioner – FNP) are a strong plus.
Optional: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Certification in Vascular Access (VA-BC), Infection Prevention (CIC), or Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE).
Experience
5–10 years of pediatric clinical experience, ideally in any of the following:
Vascular Access
Hematology/Oncology
Surgical Units (including PICU/NICU)
2–5 years of experience in clinical education, medical device support, or in-service training
