Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) / Nurse Practitioner – Gynecology

NYMD Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing multidisciplinary medical practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women across all stages of life.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive women's health assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecologic conditions.
• Conduct annual well-woman examinations and preventive screenings.
• Manage contraception counseling and family planning services.
• Evaluate and treat common gynecologic concerns, including infections, menstrual disorders, and menopause-related symptoms.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• Current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (WHNP-BC) required.
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in outpatient gynecology or women's health preferred.

Job Type: Full-Time

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (WHNP-BC) required.
• DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain).
• Minimum of 2 years of women's health or gynecology experience

Only candidates certified as Women's Health Nurse Practitioners (WHNP-BC) will be considered. Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioners (ANP), and other NP specialties are not eligible for this position.
