The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites applications and nominations for the position of Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The residency and fellowship training programs are both important missions of the department.
We seek a candidate with strong managerial capabilities and outstanding interpersonal skills who is committed to providing the highest quality of health care to a diverse population of women in the Greater Cincinnati community. Qualified candidates must demonstrate their ability to provide strategic leadership in an integrated health care system. Opportunities to interact with clinical and basic science units in the College of Medicine present many options for multidisciplinary program development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and have board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Participation is expected in the Maintenance of Certification Program. Individuals who apply must have a history of outstanding academic and clinical leadership skills and accomplishments and a firm understanding of complex care in an academic setting.
