Christiana Care is currently hiring for a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the ENT/URO surgical services team providing pre and post-operative care. This person will provide 12 hour weekend coverage every other weekend.
In collaboration with ENT and Urologic supervising physicians, the PA/NP will be a First Responder for calls and consultations from the floors and emergency department. Care primarily includes performing ENT and Urologic consultations, hospital admissions, peri-operative exams, provide pre-operative consents and clearance, and bedside procedures.
Physician Assistant candidates must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program and be certified or eligible for certification by the NCCPA. Nurse Practitioners must be a graduate from an accredited program and be certified or eligible for certification. Must be licensed or be license eligible in Delaware. Surgical management experience preferred.
