Kootenai Clinic, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is seeking 2 additional Neonatal Nurse Practitioner’s (NNP) to join a rapidly expanding service line at our 14 bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Currently there are three Neonatologists and two NNPs. The team also includes veteran NICU nurses, and designated RTs, Nutritionists, Pharmacists, and Developmental Therapists. Ideal candidates will have past critical care experience and preferred 3-5 years of NNP experience in Level III or IV NICUs. Shifts will be 12-24 hours, in-house coverage to allow for 24/7 on site neonatology coverage of newborns. NNP candidates should be strong in NRP and intubation skills as they will attend all high risk deliveries. NNPs have potential coverage of well nursery admissions at night. NNPs will admit and manage NICU patients with consistent Neonatologist involvement and oversight, participate in daily rounds, and perform procedures expected in the NICU. Opportunities exist for assisting in program development, education, outreach, and on-going service line growth. This is a hospital employment opportunity with competitive compensation and benefits.
