Board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
One of our McLeod Practiceslocated in Florence, South Carolina has an urgent need for aNeonatal-trained, board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
McLeod Regional Medical Center is one of five Regional Perinatal Centers for northeastern SC that provides the highest level of care and technology for high risk Moms and babies.
The NNPs will provide 24 hour coverage in this busy 40 Bed Level III NICU.
The Neonatologists cover days in house with the NNP and are on call at night when the NNP is in house
Full-time Schedule: 8-10 hour shifts, with call and occasional weekends.
Minimum Training and Education: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and two years clinical experience, including at least one year in Neonatal ICU requiredÂ
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) through NCC required unless a new NNP graduate. New NNP graduate must be certification eligible upon employment, and obtain certification within 6 months of employment. Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse and hold official recognition as a Nurse Practitioner from the South Carolina Board of Nursing. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. NRP certification also required.
